Too cold to ride? It’s time for the Longskate video party!

Sorry for the lack of posts…but something big is brewing. More info soon for sure!

This weekend is shaping up to be a good one. Tonight the whole Parisian longboarding community, together with the few brave enough to come from further afield will be squeezing into the La Cantada bar for the 6th edition of the Longskate video party.

Last year, there were 24 videos and and tonight almost double the ammont will be shown, over 2.5 hours of footage! The videos were submitted in 5 categories (humour, urban, educational, abroad and downhill) and readers of Pappy Boyington’s blog were asked to vote for their favourite.   One thing is sure, the best longboarding from the French speaking corners of the globe will be showcased tonight. There will be many prizes, from the likes of SaKaRoulé, Sector9, CDK (from Lyon) and Riderz’s partner shop Hawaiisurf as well as beer.

On Sunday will take place the 1st edition of the annual King of Parking organised by Antoine to keep our spirits up in this depths of Winter. The race will take place at a secret spot (probably here). Everyone must wear a helmet and the first to get to the bottom will be crowned the winner.

The meeting point is at 11 O’clock at La Défence – see you there! My knee is getting better so I’m in…

Due to the fact that my beloved LBL Pusher is seemingly giving up the ghost, I’m on the lookout for a new board. My choices are:
– The elusive LBL Pusher V2, spotted today at Smile LBL UK on Facebook
– A new offering by Pulse featuring a 2″ drop!
– An amazing board from B2 longboards in Toulouse, the Rock the Drop (spotted on The Silver Session – thanks Phildar!)

Which one should I get?
